Friday Visitors

Today Julie and Amber returned to help for the day.  They cleared the dirt and rubble from between the tires on our 9th course in preparation to "pack it out," which means that we will fill the space between the tires with handfuls of cement and maybe a plastic bottle or two to take up space.

Also, visitors Connie and her friend Sue stopped by to check it out.  Sue's grandson Andrew even wanted to experience pounding a tire!

By the end of the day the 9th course was finished and our excavator put a lot of dirt up behind the tire wall.  We are ready to move on to pounding the tires in the stem wall, which will be two courses in the front that support the greenhouse glass.
